Our Wedding Day
(Aug 08, 2008)
Our decidedly low-key wedding at the Santa Clara County Courthouse.

Judy and her mom as we wait for our 11 AM appointment at the Santa Clara County Courthouse.
We were definitely underdressed compared to the other people getting married that day, but at least I wasn't wearing shorts!
Neither of us actually expected any kind of ceremony; we thought we'd just go in and sign a bunch of papers.
Instead, our officiant (judge? justice of the peace? priest?) launched into a typical wedding sermon (is that the right word?).
We really didn't care much for the sermon.
Honestly, we were quite bored through the whole thing.
...blah, blah, blah... covenant between a man and a woman...
...sanctity of marriage... blah, blah, blah...
At least we had Judy's mom for entertainment as she ran around the room snapping pictures.
Unfortunately, the photos all came out pretty crappy, probably due to the low light conditions.
Typically, I'd trash half these photos, but since they're the only photos of our wedding, I decided to keep most of them for posterity's sake.
He's wrapping up which means we get to go to lunch soon! That makes Judy happy.
I take you, you take me... now kiss! Can you believe that Judy's mom missed a shot of the ceremonial kiss? Oh well, what can you do? Now... let's go eat!
