Nice view of the 4-Runner with Donner Lake in the distance.
Pretty fall foliage on our way to the boulders.
Nice shot of Judy warming up on a V1 with Donner Lake as a backdrop.
We stopped here for a bathroom break the next day on our way to the Emigrant Trail. These deer were obviously very accustomed to people feeding them.
There were perhaps a dozen deer lying in the grassy area right next to the campsites.
Here's a closer shot of the deer. If you look closely, you can see their ears sticking out of the grass.
Riding along the Emigrant Trail which consisted largely of fun, rolling singletrack.
Judy strips off a few layers after warming up.
This is a very Judy compatible trail - she's liking the ride!
We lucked out as the weather was perfect for riding.
We turned around here when the trail hit the 89. The trail actually continues on for a few more miles.
On our way back. You can see the reservoir out in the distance.
Nice shot of Judy cranking up the hill.
