North Shore riding and Squamish bouldering!
[ Blog Entry ]
We checked out the lake next morning. Balancing on this log was much harder than it looks. The further you got out, the more wobbly it became!
We got to Mike and Adina's house in Vancouver, WA the next day. Here's me hanging out with Ruby (left) and Max.
We continued north the next day and stopped for a mid-afternoon bike ride just outside of Seattle at Philip Arnold Park. It was one of the twistiest trails I had ever ridden.
It was a little too much for Judy so she headed early back to the car. I got lost in the maze of trails but was able to find my way back.
After more than an hour of hunting for a campground, we finally decided to spend the night at a rest area. Ryan met us here. That morning we encountered a bit of rain.
The night before, Judy and I had Mediterranean food at Bellingham, just north of Seattle. The portions were huge! I had the leftovers the next morning at the rest area.
After driving through Vancouver and reaching the North Shore, we had lunch at a nice outdoor cafe and hit the trail Team Pangor. We came across this enormous slug!
After a moderate but long climb up a dirt road in which Ryan nearly hyperventilated to death, we were ready for the downhill. At the trail head, Judy decided to go back on the dirt road.
Judy finished the trail and went running which was a good thing because she would have been hiking the majority of this trail.
Our first day at the Whistler Mountain Bike Park. Here's Ryan learning the benefits of downhill tubes.
The Riverside RV resort where we stayed for several days. Cheap showers and a nice breakfast cafe made this a really nice place to stay.
After you could get the leg hang, you could do the pass off. Be sure to check out the full videos below of Judy's trapeze stunts.
