Aw man! I vividly remember all those big storms that hit right after we left. In fact, on our way back, we drove through Tahoe which had just received something like 5-7' (yes, that's feet!) of fresh snow. I think a good portion of this storm continued on to hit Utah as well.

Sounds like you had a great trip! I'm jealous! Next year, I'm not taking any chances. Before I go on any snowboarding trips, I'm gonna ask your kid to do a snow prayer. I'll be happy to pay him if need be! :-)

Roger, I don't mean to make you feel bad in any way, but you need to get religion! One of my kids was praying for snow for our family ski trip to Park City this winter. Our drive through SLC Feb. 17 was pretty depressing as we looked around at the brown and gray city without a trace of snow anywhere. Our condo near The Canyons had some partial coverage of snow.

We woke up the next morning to 1.5' to 2' of snow. A few days later we had 1' to 2' more. That was the day that I went skiing alone because my son was "too tired" and everyone else thought that it might be "too cold." I got a ride to The Canyons and had a great day. One of my best ski days ever.

I wouldn't have thought that an appeal to a higher power would work for snow, but I can't fault the results.
