Thanks for the comments. One aspect of this remote that may be helpful is that the [TV Pwr] button can control the power for up to three devices. You could, for example, have the [TV Pwr] button on the remote simultaneously turn on/off your TV, A/V receiver, and a third device. This can be done by successively entering the appropriate 4-digit codes for each of the devices (from the list of codes in the Remote Setup menu) or, if the codes are not available, by using the learning procedure.

Be advised though that with this type of setup, it is possible for one or more devices to get out of sync (i.e., one or more of the devices fails to receive the IR signal and thus becomes out of sync with the others). In that case, you would have to manually turn on/off the offending device(s) to get all the devices back in sync.

Hope this helps a bit.

The remote is definetely sexy, but it lacks two major features. First there is no on/off support for the home theater system. It's great that you can turn off the TV, but it doesn't do you any good if you've got the series 3 THX'd out.

Secondily, no sleep button on the remote. May not be important to everyone, but as someone who likes to listen to the gentle patter of TiVo while I fall asleep, it's enough to force me to now keep the extra TV remote as well.

Why not just allow any button on the remote to programable instead of restricting it to a few global buttons? If I could just switch from TiVo #1 to Tivo #2 and have that turn my stereo system off and designate some of the buttons for sleep, menu, mute or whatever it would be fine, but the only buttons that are programmable are the ones that globally control both Tivo #1 and TiVo #2, so I can't assign one button as the sleep button without killing the TV on/off switch.

I know that this remote can't replace every function, but until it can offer sleep and HTS on/off it means that I can't toss my other two remotes into storage.
