Ruben, Judy’s friend from college, and Kim tied the knot this weekend so we headed down to Santa Barbara for the wedding. The Ocean’s 11 guidebook, which Judy had bought for our previous trips to Pine Mountain, describes lots of good bouldering in the near vicinity so we decided to try to squeeze some climbing in the day after the wedding.

Here are the pics from the wedding as well as a few bouldering shots. Unfortunately, we wasted a bunch of time bush-whacking down the wrong trail in search of the boulders on Sunday, and since we had to make dinner (back in Nor Cal) with Judy’s family, we didn’t get to boulder very long. It was just as well though since it was really hot that day. We did find lots of good boulders though so we’re definitely planning on heading back sometime later this year.
