Kicked Out
Our landlord informed us today that he is planning on selling the house we are living in (good timing on his part IMO as the housing bubble is showing strong signs of deflating). As a result, our lease which ends January 15, 2006 will not be renewed. That’s one of the big downsides of renting - you can be uprooted on a whim.
We thus have to find a new abode. This is not necessarily a bad thing, especially if we are able to move to a place closer to my work. A shortened commute would almost make the hassle of moving worth it. Of course, our new residence will also depend on where Judy ends up getting a job. If she ends up working in or near San Francisco again, we could very well end up close to where we live now. If we have to pack up all our stuff just to move down the street, that would be an annoying pain-in-the-ass to say the least. Here’s to hoping Judy gets a job near TiVo! ![]()
