Woohoo! TiVo made me an official offer today! Paul (my boss to be) and I had discussed compensation a few days ago and I had some issues with the proposed package. I was very happy to see that the new offer addressed those issues.

It took a little while to get the “official” offer letter from TiVo’s HR, but that was understandable because most everyone at TiVo was in the midst of a big, free TiVo giveaway event.

Despite being up to their ears with the big event (hundreds of people showed up as did news cameras and helicopters), I did receive the official offer today and indicated my acceptance of it. So it looks like Judy and I are Silicon Valley bound!
