Day 9 (Sun, Oct 06) Klondike Bluffs, Islands in the Sky
Upon getting up, we got our free continental breakfast, the highlight of which were the Belgian waffles that you make yourself by pouring cups of pre-made batter into a griddle. Although we had a fairly good idea of the rides in the area through our [...]

Many of you aren’t interested in the trip report and just want to see the pictures so here’s the direct links to the pics.: Moab Pics (Zion, Grand Tetons, Yellowstone, Needles, Natural Bridges, Moab, Islands in the Sky, Arches)
Day 1 (Sat, Sept. 28) Zion
Our journey began at a little past 8 AM as we departed [...]

Grouse Lake

On July 03, Judy, Aaron, Kate, and myself headed up to King’s Canyon for a four-day backpacking trip. We couldn’t secure permits in advance so the plan was to head up on Wednesday, camp in front of the ranger station and hope that enough permits would still be available on Thursday morning. If we could [...]

Rock ‘N Roll Marathon

It took me a month to decide if I wanted to run the marathon. I had never really thought about doing one, but some friends were training for the Suzuki Rock and Roll marathon, and kept suggesting that I run it as well. I was already doing a 10-mile run once a week, so I [...]

Redpoint Website

This is a site I created for Redpoint Engineering. It is more of a preliminary, rough-cut rather than a finished product. Only a few of the pages are present (not all the links work), and even those are not “true” web pages, but instead just a bunch of sliced gif’s. Despite the incompleteness, what exists [...]

Testimonials

What’s the word on the street about the new RohJuh.com? What do people really think about the new website? To find out, we surveyed dozens of people. Most had a favorable impression of the site, but not all. Read what people are saying about the new RohJuh.com.

With a better grasp of web design under my belt, the creation of Version 2 allowed me to focus more on the creative aspects of web design rather than constantly fighting with HTML. Version 2 was introduced on March 07, 2002 sporting the fresh and new Aqua look. Clearly inspired by Apple’s Mac OS X, [...]

Netscape 4.7 Problems

Update 03.20.02:
I have finally figured out how to fix the Netscape 4.7 problem. It was really quite a simple actually. Netscape has problems with gifs as backgrounds. All I had to do was change the background from a gif to a jpeg and Netscape was happy. Stupid browser.
As you can see from the image below, [...]

Ouray and Telluride

This ended up being one of the most extreme adventures to date, though certainly not by choice. “Look, Nachos!” was the battle cry. Ice axes not only chipped into ice and clung onto rocks, but also smashed into faces. Snowboards were used for bobsledding and skeleton racing. One of us even tried to use a [...]

Banff, Canada

Banff has been on Judy’s list of target destinations that she really wants to visit. Not only was it supposed to be beautiful, but with such dry snow, the skiing and boarding should be really good. We decided to check it out this season. Our group consisted of Patty, Dave, Bob, Trish, Ken, Amy, Brian, [...]

Powder Mountain

Aaron, Kate, Patty, Dave, Bob, Ryan, Kelly, Preston, Judy, and myself spent 3 days skiing and boarding at Powder Mountain, Utah. Aaron and Kate actually drove there from San Jose and were able to get in 4 days. They stayed at Aaron’s sister’s house in Ogden while the rest of us stayed in a condo [...]
